Person Centred Counsellor and Systemic Family Constellation.
From Sheryl:
However you’ve got here, I would like to say well done for taking this step to address your worries, concerns or issues. You’re worthy to be heard.
Talking can give you an opportunity to learn more about yourself by exploring and understanding the feelings evoked by whatever is going on in your life. Sometimes, friends and families can be helpful, but they can also be too close to a situation or issue that you may find it difficult, burdening or even awkward talking to them. You may find it more helpful talking to someone who is impartial and unconnected.
Counselling can be a rewarding and empowering life-changing experience. I have experienced this life changing change myself by talking to a caring human being in a therapeutic environment.
It is important for you to find someone that you can relate to, someone that “gets you”, someone you feel you can build a trusting relationship with for your best possible outcome. I always feel privileged to be allowed to accompany clients on this private and personal journey.
I am a mother, aunt, a sister, a grandmother. Born, raised and schooled in South East London, qualifying as a professional counsellor was one of my biggest achievements in my life.
I am a empathic person-centred therapist, that means I’m not here to judge you or tell you how to be, but to listen and support. I work in a phenomlogical, somatic way, with internal epigenic interventions which aims to offer a new way of seeing and being, to assist you to move on in your life by making decisions that motivate and self-promotes you as a person.
Working within Bereavement, End of life and Palliative Care sector for over the last 10 years within a hospice, Macmillan and hospital environment. I also work with sexual violence against women, and I offer a range of alternative therapies.
Whatever you would like to work on, and this could be working with self-acceptance, building self-esteem, exploring core issues, boundary settings, changing old thought patterns or finding a purpose in life, lets see what we could change together.
