Kirsten Halliday

Kirsten is a Child, Young Person & Family Psychodynamic Psychotherapist specialising in offering individual sessions to children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 25.

From Kirsten:

I aim to offer a non-judgemental and young person-centred space, which supports young people to explore their emotional world in a safe and creative way. In order to better understand themselves and what might be underlying their difficulties.

I have many years’ experience working as a therapist in a variety of settings, including schools, alternative provisions, and the NHS. I am currently employed as a Senior Psychotherapist in the NHS, working with children and adolescents. I have worked with a wide range of difficulties and client backgrounds, including behavioural difficulties, neuro-divergence, speech and language difficulties, children who are looked after and post-adoption.

I am accredited with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP).

I originally trained as a Music Therapist and am accredited with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Association of Music Therapists (BAMT).

I also offer clinical supervision to other therapists. I can offer short or long-term sessions and will be led by your needs. Please contact me via the button below or my email if you would like to discuss this further:
