From Inam:

Hello, here's a little about me and Dramatherapy.

Dramatherapy is for anyone who may have experienced or is experiencing trauma, grief, change and loss, low self-esteem or depression, amongst other difficult life experiences; and aims to support meaningful psychological and emotional change.

It combines elements of psychotherapy and the arts, to develop a distinct therapeutic model. Dramatherapy offers you opportunities for conversation, creativity, movement and play, exploring unconscious and instinctual choices, as you share the roles you play in the stories which have brought you to this moment in your life. Beginnings and endings, love, death, grief, and everything else which falls in between.

I follow a compassion focused, client-led approach, with sessions evolving in alliance with, and according to the needs of each person in the moment and across weeks. As with any other psychological work, Dramatherapy requires commitment and consistency to develop a trusting and collaborative working relationship and build the groundwork for you to make positive change.
